Behind every great artist, is a community that said
'keep going!'.

For centuries, artists have relied on patrons, people who believed in the work enough to help sustain it. Not because the art was of high value or notoriety, but because the journey was worth funding and it's presence enhanced the environments it adorned. Patrons allow artists the wiggle room to keep going.

I'm making the effort to push myself out into the open, really venture to creating the art I want to make, and I want to see. Instead of only focusing on bringing other's stories to life, and hiding behind the 9-5 gig. That takes a kind of bravery I'm still building. And honestly?
